Nestled between Broadbeach and Miami, looking out over one of the most relaxed stretches of the Gold Coast.
The building
Designed by Rothelowman for Hirsch & Faigen
YVES sits on a triangular site on Mermaid Avenue. Its form widens towards the east, as if to embrace the Pacific Ocean.
That expanding V shape gives apartments views from sunrise over the ocean, south to Currumbin and north to Broadbeach. A scalloped precast waveform runs up the facade, softening the building and playing with light and shadow through the day.
Arrival is through subtropical planting into a four-storey-high lobby. The Collection apartments occupy levels 22 and 23, with residents' amenities on Level 3 and Level 24.
YVES is registered as Community Titles Scheme 57830. Every lot owner is a member of the body corporate, and an elected committee looks after decisions between general meetings with support from our strata manager, SSKB.
Shared spaces, shared respect
These are fabulous shared privileges, not personal kingdoms. Share nicely, tidy up and leave no evidence, except perhaps the faint aroma of an excellent sausage.
Level 3 recreation deck
Gym
- Residents aged 16 and over only
- Wipe equipment after use
- Return equipment to its proper place
- Report faults to the body corporate
Sauna
- Take towels and personal belongings with you
- Leave the space clean and ready for the next person
BBQ area and kids' play space
- Please don't claim the area for the entire day
- Dispose of rubbish and remove personal items
- Return anything you move
- Children must be supervised
Level 24 rooftop
Spectacular views and our most loved shared rooms. Level 24 is for residents only, and it's important we all look after it so everyone can keep enjoying it.
- Wine bar and lounge
- A relaxed space for casual entertaining or just going up for a while. Open without reservation for now. Please share if others are there.
- Event room
- Private bookable dining space for functions. Booking: To be confirmed
- House rules
- Leave the space as you found it. Return anything you move. No dogs on Level 24.
Dogs and shared spaces. Dogs are not permitted in the pool, gym, sauna or Level 24 areas, and washing pets in the pool bathroom isn't allowed. See pets.
Mermaid Beach
Relaxed and a little bit retro, with our own stretch of beach and some of the best breaks in Australia.
The Mermaid Esplanade is a short stroll away. Broadbeach and Pacific Fair are close by, the Gold Coast Highway is a block away, and the light rail and Gold Coast Airport (about 16 km) make getting around easy.
